St.
Martin's Day (Magusto)
For the eighth consecutive year, Hovione celebrates the
“Magusto” at its facilities in Taipa. The “Magusto” is an
old pagan tradition held on St Martin’s Day; it commemorates
the end of the harvest and is celebrated by eating chestnuts
and drinking the first wine of the year. It has become,
along the years, a festivity that gathers the Portuguese
living in Macau, Hovione keen to support this wonderful
tradition. - Click on thumbnails to see the photos in more details
